Shadow Yoga & Meditation Ashram, we understand and respect the importance of solitude and introspection in the practice of yoga. That’s why we are committed to providing each student attending our Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh with their own private room. We believe that spending quality time alone, connecting with one’s inner self, is an essential element of the yogic journey.

While we prioritize individual rooms to uphold the sanctity of personal space and privacy, we also understand that some students may prefer to share accommodations. Special arrangements can be made upon request, provided that the request is made in advance to ensure suitable arrangements can be arranged.

Our accommodations are nestled amidst lush green surroundings, offering a serene environment where you wake up to the melodious chirping of birds and fall asleep under the tranquil embrace of the sleeping Himalayas.


Each assigned room is meticulously maintained to ensure it is well-lit, clean, and ventilated. With proper windows and ventilators, you can embrace the soothing sounds of the nearby River Ganges and the refreshing mountain breeze. Our washrooms are kept clean and hygienic, with the option of requesting lukewarm water for your comfort.

In addition to the serene environment, our rooms are equipped with modern amenities to enhance your comfort and convenience. You’ll have access to showers, along with basic amenities for your daily needs. A spacious bed, a cupboard, and a study table are provided for a comfortable stay, allowing you to focus on your practice and studies during the training.

For those who wish to stay connected, we offer 24/7 Wi-Fi connection, allowing you to share your experiences and connect with loved ones. However, we encourage you to embrace the tranquility of your surroundings and immerse yourself fully in the yogic journey.

Accommodations for our 100-hour, 200-hour, and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training Courses are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. We appreciate quick booking to ensure a seamless experience and to avoid last-minute hassles.

Shadow Yoga & Meditation Ashram, we uphold the belief that health is the cornerstone of yoga, and we are committed to providing our students with nourishing, wholesome meals. Our kitchen, nestled close to the sacred river Ganges, is where we prepare delectable, healthy, and hygienic food exclusively for our students of Yoga Teacher Training and Yoga Retreats in India.

Yogi Food Concept: We serve yogi food thrice a day, aligning with the principles of yoga and holistic wellness. Our menu is thoughtfully curated to offer a variety of dishes that cater to the nutritional needs and preferences of our students.

Daily Changing Menu: While our menu changes daily to offer diversity, the core concept of health and nourishment remains constant. Our offerings include starters, salads, soups, chapattis, porridge, boiled vegetables, dal, milk, and curd, allowing our students to enjoy a balanced and nutritious diet throughout their stay.

Calorie-Free Natural Dinner: For dinner, we serve well-bowled, calorie-free natural food that is not only satisfying but also supports your overall well-being. Our chefs prepare meals using hygienic methods to ensure that no nutritional elements are lost, providing you with a wholesome dining experience every time.
